EFFIE WESTFALL

NASHVILLE, Ark.—Effie Marguerite Westfall, 81, of New Boston, Texas, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009, in a New Boston nursing home. <br />Mrs. Westfall was born Sept. 26, 1927, in Roseboro, Ark. She was a former mayor of Daisy, Ark., and a member of Daisy Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Lewis Westfall; and two sons, Edwin Westfall and Wade Westfall. <br />Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, James and Sarah Westfall of New Boston; one daughter, Jan Hoffman of Garland, Texas; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Biggs Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Kevin Jewel officiating. Burial will be under direction of Latimer Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.latimerfuneralhome.com. <br /> <br />
