JAMES CHILDERS

NAPLES, Texas—James L. “Jim” Childers, 82, of New Boston, Texas, died Monday, Jan. 5, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Childers was born April 9, 1926, in Tyro, Kan. He was retired from Red River Army Depot, a member of National Rifle Association, Disabled American Veterans and St. Martin Episcopal Church, New Boston, and an Army veteran. <br />Survivors include his wife, Mary Beth Childers of New Boston; one son and daughter-in-law, Bill III and Linda Eggenburger of New Boston; one sister, Gyneth Folk of Kansas; three grandchildren, Billy Mac Callahan, Jason Eggenburger and Sacha Draggoo; and four great-grandchildren. <br />Cremation is under direction of Harrison Funeral Home. <br /> <br />
