JESSIE MILLER

PRESCOTT, Ark.—Jessie Lee Anthony Miller, 93, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009, in a Pine Bluff, Ark., hospital. <br />Mrs. Miller was born Feb. 29, 1915, in Laneburg, Ark. She was a retired charge cook at Nevada County Hospital, formerly employed by McRae High School and a member of First Trinity COGIC and Munn’s Chapel Baptist Church, where she was Sunday school superintendent and a member of Missionary Society, Mothers Board and the choir. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Miller; one son, Kenneth Harvey; and one stepdaughter, Helen Miller. <br />Survivors include one son, Robert Miller Jr. of Milwaukee; one daughter and son-in-law, Irma Jean and Willie Gilmore Sr. of Pine Bluff, Ark.; one brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Alberta Anthony of Detroit; two cousins, Dan and Audrey Jackson of Prescott; one special friend, Francis Gadsden of Nadick, Mass.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Munn’s Chapel Baptist Church, Prescott, with Elder Dewitt Hill Jr. officiating. Burial will be in DeAnn Cemetery under direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.brazzelfuneralhomes.com. <br /> <br />
