MARGARET HASTON

HOPE, Ark.—Margaret Ann Haston, 63, of Magnolia, Ark., died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009, in a Texarkana hospital. <br />Mrs. Haston was born April 10, 1945, in Little Rock, Miss. She was a certified nursing assistant at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home, a former employee of Lawhorn Grocery Store and Gibson’s Department Store, Sunday school teacher and secretary of the bus ministry at Greenville, Miss., Church of Christ and a member of Jackson Street Church of Christ, Magnolia. She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Haston. <br />Survivors include one son, Steve Haston of Magnolia; two daughters and one son-in-law, Esther Haston of Marmaduke, Ark., and Cindy and David Campbell of Alvarado, Texas; one brother, Rufus Purser of Carthage, Miss.; two sisters, Virginia Purser of Greenville and Faye Purser of Gulfport, Miss.; one sister-in-law, Maxine Purser of Union, Miss.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Jackson Street Church of Christ with David Lovejoy and Harley Sisson officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia City Cemetery under direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the church. <br />Online registration is at www.brazzelfuneralhomes.com. <br /> <br />
