SHIRLEY LEMMON

NAPLES, Texas—Shirley Ann Lemmon, 75, of Marietta, Texas, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009, in a Tyler, Texas, hospital. <br />Mrs. Lemmon was born Sept. 15, 1933, in Mount Pleasant, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Marietta School Board and Oakridge Baptist Church, where she was in the choir. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyett Lemmon, in 2006. <br />Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Steve Herrington of Grand Prairie, Texas; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Maydrid and John Cooper of DeKalb, Texas, and Carolyn and Russ Reid of Colorado Springs; two grandchildren, Ashley and Preston Herrington of Grand Prairie; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Oakridge Baptist Church with the Revs. James Day and David Hazelwood officiating. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery under direction of Harrison Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Memorials may be made to Gideons International. <br /> <br />
