GURDON, Ark.—Connie Lynn Smith Uchtman, 46, of Gurdon died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009, in an Arkadelphia, Ark., hospital. <br />Mrs. Uchtman was born Sept. 29, 1962, in Gurdon. She was a retired secretary for the food service department of Gurdon Public Schools and member of Red Springs Baptist Church. <br />Survivors include her husband, Eddie Uchtman of Gurdon; two sons, Justin Uchtman and Josh Uchtman of Gurdon; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Brodie Jr. and Joana Smith of Gurdon and Johnny Smith of Gurdon; and three sisters and one brother-in-law, Joyce and Carley Bledsoe Jr. of Arkadelphia, Charlotte Johnson of Gurdon and Debra McGee of Chidester, Ark. <br />Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at South Fork Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Black and Dr. Marvin Pate officiating.
