DEBBIE LEAKES

ATLANTA, Texas—Debbie Jo Leakes, 45, of Atlanta died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, in a local hospital. <br />Mrs. Leakes was born Feb. 25, 1963, in Atlanta. She was a retired correctional officer with Barry Telford Unit, New Boston, Texas, and a member of Enon First Baptist Church. <br />Survivors include her husband, Ricky Leakes of Atlanta; one son, Timothy Shelton of Atlanta; one daughter, Rikki Leakes of Atlanta; her father and stepmother, Joe and Faye Barber of Atlanta; two sisters, Sally Jones of Vivian, La., and Janet Weman of Detroit, Mich.; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 11 a.m. today at First Baptist Church, Atlanta, with the Rev. A.C. Williams Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest Cemetery under direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home. <br /> <br />
