OGELEE STRICKLAND

Ogelee Durham Strickland, 75, of Fouke, Ark., died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2009, in a local hospital. <br />Mrs. Strickland was born March 29, 1933, in Miller County, Ark. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Floyd Durham and Charles Strickland. <br />Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Angie Durham of Ashdown, Ark., and Jimmy and Linda Durham of Fouke; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Charlie Howlett of Bloomburg, Texas, and Linda and James Haltom of Shreveport, La.; one niece, Tereasa Harris of Texarkana; one nephew, Ronnie Owens of Fouke; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at East Funeral Home, Downtown, with the Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Grove Cemetery. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. <br />Online registration is at www.mem.com. <br /> <br />
