WILLIE LOMAX

DALLAS—Willie Lee Lomax, 70, of Denton, Texas, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009. <br />Mr. Lomax was born Sept. 12, 1938. He was employed with North Texas State University. <br />Survivors include his wife, Floydie Henderson Lomax of Denton; two sons, Avlin Henderson and Jackie Darrough of Denton; one daughter, Deborah Perry of Denton; three brothers, Archie Lomax of Hooks, Texas, Rogers Charles Lomax of Tulsa, Okla., and J.W. Fisher of Inglewood, Calif.; four sisters, Hazel Mims and Albeatrice Gooden of Hooks, Mary Walton of Fort Worth, Texas, and Pinie Holloway of Mansfield, Texas; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 1 p.m. today at Cedar Springs Baptist Church, Hooks, with the Rev. Ulycess Forte officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Springs Cemetery under direction of Lomax Funeral Home. <br /> <br />
