LESTER BEASLEY

NAPLES, Texas—Lester Beasley, 93, of Omaha, Texas, died Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, in a Mount Pleasant, Texas hospital. <br />Mr. Beasley was born May 23, 1915, in Omaha. He was a retired electrical engineer, a Baptist and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Laverne Wommack Beasley; and one grandson, Kent Beasley. <br />Survivors include his wife, Eva Nell Beasley of Omaha; one son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Diann Beasley of Omaha; one daughter, Becky Stewart of Austin; four stepdaughters, Janet Price of Atlanta, Texas, Susan Caver of Fort Worth, Texas, Sandra Price of Longview, Texas, and Rebecca Sanders of Whitehouse, Texas; one sister, Virginia Atkinson of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. <br />Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Concord Baptist Church, Omaha, with the Revs. Dale Hunt and Nolan Richey officiating. Burial will be in Omaha Cemetery under direction of Harrison Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br /> <br />
