CHARLES CHANDLER

DE QUEEN, Ark.—Charles Kimball Chandler, 68, of Westline community, Ark., died Monday, Jan. 12, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Chandler was born March 31, 1940, in De Queen. He was a sawmill owner, a minister and member of West Line Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Laniecia Gail Chandler. <br />Survivors include his wife, Betty Jo Holder Chandler of Westline; three sons, Warren Lydel Chandler of Horatio, Ark., Charles Darwin of De Queen and Cheston Lance of Westline; three daughters, Kimberly Arlene Winton of De Queen, Gayla Ann Strout of Foreman, Ark., and Sherry Lynne Tallant of Winthrop, Ark.; three brothers, Clyde Chandler of Westline, Jimmy Chandler of Idabel, Okla., and Randy Chandler of New Boston, Texas; two sisters, Laura Nelson of Melber, Ky., and Glenda Johnson of Tom, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at First Assembly of God Church, De Queen, with Braxton Bigot, Tracy Welch and Sammy Cottrell officiating. Burial will be in Westline Cemetery, Westline, Ark., under direction of Chandler Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.chandlerfuneral.com. <br />
