EMIL LUNA

PLEASANTON, Texas—Emil J. Luna, 39, of Sahuarita, Ariz., formerly of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, in Sahuarita. <br />Mr. Luna was born Dec. 4, 1969. He was an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Karina Luna. <br />Survivors include one daughter Lisa Marie Luna of Sahuarita; one stepdaughter, Kristi Michelle Lopez of Lubbock, Texas; his parents, Richard and Nancy Luna of Pleasanton, Texas; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Richard A. Jr. and Brenda Luna of Lompoc, Calif., and Emery Menchaca of Corpus Christi, Texas; and a number of other relatives. <br />Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Burial will be in Chilipitin Cemetery, Charlotte, Texas. <br />Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday with rosary recited from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.hurleyfuneralhome.com. <br />
