MAUDIE HARRIS

Maudie Ree Harris, 88, of Naples, Texas, died Friday, Jan. 16, 2009, at her home. <br />Mrs. Harris was born Sept. 1, 1920, in Birdeye, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Nash, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pearl T. Harris; and two daughters, Mary Francis Harris and Patsy Faye Harris. <br />Survivors include three sons, Dale Harris of Texarkana, Sammy Harris of Horatio, Ark., and Donald Harris of Nash; four daughters, Katheryne Gildon of Naples, Carolyn Mattis of Canton, Texas, Barbara Tankersley of Simms, Texas, and Marie Teel of Nash; 25 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 3:30 p.m. today at Chapelwood Funeral Home with Bryan Peck officiating.
