ANNIE THOMAS

MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas—Annie Faye Sang Thomas, 79, of Mount Pleasant died Monday, Jan. 26, 2009, in Mount Pleasant. <br />Ms. Thomas was born July 15, 1929, in Mount Pleasant. She was employed with Pilgrim’s Pride and Titus County Memorial Hospital, retired from Annie Sims Elementary School and a member of Full Gospel Pentecostal Berean Church. She was preceded in death by one grandchild, Kenyon Brooks. <br />Survivors include five sons, Johnny Brooks of Dallas and Donald Wayne Curtis, Ronnie Brooks, Michael Thomas and Franky Thomas of Mount Pleasant; three daughters, Ann Bell of Mesquite, Texas, and Glenda Farmer and Kaye Nelms of Mount Pleasant; two sisters, Jean Wilson of Elmo, Texas, and Earline Elliott of Myrtle Springs, Texas; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater Bibleway Missionary Baptist Church with L.K. McGill officiating. Burial will be in Piney Cemetery under direction of Tumey Mortuary. <br />Visitation will be 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. <br /> <br />
