GARY COOPER

CHICO, Calif.—C. Gary Cooper, M.D., 67, of Chico died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009, in a local hospital. <br />Mr. Cooper was born April 7, 1941, in Texarkana, Texas. He was a retired general surgeon and former chief of trauma services at Enloe Medical Center. <br />Survivors include his wife, Ruthie of Chico; two sons, William Cooper and Jacob Cooper of Chico; one daughter, Jane Anne Cooper of Sacramento; one sister, Barbara Ann Little of Heber Springs, Ark.; one uncle, Buran Cooper of Fouke, Ark.; one cousin, Wayne Combs of Texarkana; and four grandchildren. <br />Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Bidwell Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are under direction of Brusie Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Memorials may be made to Enloe Foundation, c/o Brusie Funeral Home. <br /> <br />
