MELVIN JOY JR.

HOPE, Ark.—Melvin Clifton Joy Jr., 69, of Memphis, Tenn., died Friday, May 8, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Joy was born Sept. 2, 1939, in Bryan, Texas. He was retired from Eco Laboratory, Memphis. <br />Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Becky Joy of Batesville, Miss.; one daughter, Galelyn J. Holland of Pontotoc, Miss.; four brothers, James E. Joy of Hempstead, Texas, Robert E. Joy of Marlow, Okla., and John Joy and David Joy of Hope; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Macedonia Cemetery with the Rev.
