KITTY HOWLETT

CLARKSVILLE, Texas—Eva Kate “Kitty” Howlett, 73, of Clarksville died Saturday, July 4, 2009, in a local hospital. <br />Mrs. Howlett was born Sept. 19, 1935, in West Bowie community, Texas. She was a hairdresser and a member of First Baptist Church, Clarksville. <br />Survivors include her husband, Eugene Howlett of Clarksville; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Shannan Howlett of Detroit, Texas, and Steven and Elizabeth Howlett of Rockville, Md.; one brother, Bobby Joe Walker of Daingerfield, Texas; one sister, Ruth Stevens of Natchitoches, La.; seven grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church, Clarksville, with Mark Gossett officiating. Burail will be in Woodmen Cemetery, DeKalb, Texas, under direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. <br />Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church building fund, 501 S.
