JOYCE BURNS

CLARKSVILLE, Texas—Joyce Shoulders Burns, 75, of Gladewater, Texas, formerly of Annona, Texas, died Tuesday, July 7, 2009, in Gladewater. <br />Mrs. Burns was born July 24, 1933, in Clarksville. She was the co-owner of Burns Feed, Boxelder, Texas, and a member of Order of the Eastern Star and Boxelder United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Burns, on April 12, 2007. <br />Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Marlena Malone and Jerry Warthan of Arlington, Texas, and Nanci Malone and Bruce Ogilvie of Gladewater; two sisters, Doris Howland and Carnell Shoulders of Clarksville; one brother, John Shoulders of Sherman, Texas; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Clarksville Funeral Home with the Rev. Dink Benton officiating.
