LEROY HOWELL

ATLANTA, Texas—Leroy Howell, 75, of Queen City, Texas, died Sun-day, July 5, 2009, in Shreveport, La. <br />Mr. Howell was born Feb. 7, 1934, in Queen City. He was a director of Way of the Cross Bible Conferences and pastor of Beulah Land Baptist Church. <br />Survivors include his wife, Betty Heldt Howell of Queen City; one son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Ladena Howell of Texarkana; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Robbie and Orville Farren of Nash, Texas, and Rebecca Pierce and Rachel and Lance Hughes of Texarkana; one brother; three sisters; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 1:30 p.m. today at First Baptist Church, Queen City, with the Revs. Orville Farren and Paul Nugent officiating.
