MICHAEL McCOY

Michael Dewayne McCoy, 51, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, July 3, 2009, in a local nursing home. <br />Mr. McCoy was born July 23, 1957, in Texarkana, Tex-as. <br />Survivors in-clude two sons, Michael Walker and Alex Berry of Texarkana; one daughter, Mykala McCoy of Texarkana; his mother, Helen McCoy of Texarkana; one brother, Kenneth McCoy Sr. of Lewisville, Texas; seven sisters, Patricia Jacobs, LaRuth Gooden, Lois Bland, Jocclyn Small and Genette McCoy of Texarkana, Diane Lawarence of Diamond Bar, Calif., and Barbara Blacknall of Victory, Texas; and five grandchildren. <br />Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Polly Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. James Boyce officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under direction of Haynes Mortuary. <br />Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.haynesmortuary.com. <br /> <br />
