BETTY KIDD

Betty Marcell Hunter Kidd, 71, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, July 15, 2009, in a local hospital. <br />Mrs. Kidd was born June 16, 1938, in Lost Prairie, Ark. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis L. Kidd; and one son, Kenneth Kidd. <br />Survivors include two sons, Michael Kidd of Princeton, Texas, Timothy Kidd of Texarkana; four sisters, LaDaughn Darby of Longview, Texas, Linda Fletcher of Redding, Calif., and Loretta Schneider and Sandra Daniels of New Boston; one brother, Harold Nichols of Redwater, Texas; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens with David Richardson officiating. Burial will be under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Memorials may be made to American Heart Association, P.O.
