TOMMIE COOKSEY

ATLANTA, Texas—Tommie Cooksey, 86, of Atlanta died Saturday, July 11, 2009, in a Texarkana nursing home. <br />Mrs. Cooksey was born April 1, 1923, in Bloomburg, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. <br />Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Willie and Emma Cooksey of Texarkana; one daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Albert Lollis of Texarkana; one sister-in-law, Eloise Wiggins; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. <br />Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Queen City, Texas, with Terica Cooksey Butcher officiating. Burial will be in Queen City Cemetery under direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home. <br />The body may be viewed noon to 7 p.m. with visitation from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br /> <br />
