CONNIE BROWN

LINDEN, Texas—Connie Sue McKinney Brown, 60, of Avinger, Texas, died Tuesday, June 15, 2009, in a Marshall, Texas hospital. <br />Mrs. Brown was born May 26, 1949, in Linden. She was a homemaker and a member of Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Mims Church of Christ. <br />Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Brown of Avinger; one son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Sherri Wood of Austin; one daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Rick Willingham of Yukon, Okla.; her parents, Ira “Mutt” and Irene McKinney of Linden; one brother, Freddie McKinney of Longview, Texas; one sister, Freida Powell of Linden; 12 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home with Grandol Forehand officiating.
