DORSEY HOLLIS

HOPE, Ark.—Dorsey Ray Hollis, 75, of Russellville, Ark., died Monday, June 15, 2009, in a Russellville hospital. <br />Mr. Hollis was born Dec. 10, 1933, in Patmos, Ark. He was retired from Arkansas Nuclear Energy, formerly employed with Arkansas Power and Light Co., Stamps, Ark., a deacon, Sunday School teacher and Sunday School teacher of Pleasant View Baptist Church, Russellville, and a Korean War and Vietnam War Air Force veteran. <br />Survivors include his wife, Darlene Anderson Hollis of Russellville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda Kay Hollis and Larry Dilbeck and Mitzi Darlene Hollis and J.D. Garrison of Russellville; one brother, Jerry Hollis of Hope; one sister, Judy Dickey of Hope; three grandchildren, Joshua Dilbeck, Kiley Huddleston and Madison Garrison of Russellville; five great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Anderson Baptist Church with the Rev. Lane Garner officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Cemetery, Spring Hill, Ark., under direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. <br />Online registration is at www.brazzelfuneralhomes.com. <br /> <br />
