JOHN FRANKLIN

John Benjamin Franklin, 61, of Nash, Texas, died Saturday, June 20, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Franklin was born Dec. 14, 1947, in Naples, Texas. He was retired from JCM Industries and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. <br />Survivors include his wife, Maria Franklin of Nash; one son, Greg Franklin of New Mexico; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Mildred Fleming of Bessemer, Ala., and Vera and Hugh Carlile of Naples; one grandson, Alex Franklin of Omaha, Texas; and a number of other relatives. <br />Mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Gerald Priest officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. <br />Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. today with visitation to follow at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.chapelwoodfuneralhome.com. <br /> <br />
