DOROTHY BECK

Dorothy Beck, 87, of Texarkana, Ark., died Tuesday, June 23, 2009, in a local nursing home. <br />Mrs. Beck was born Jan. 6, 1922, in Brooklyn, N.Y. She was a retired employee of Johnson Controls. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arno Beck. <br />Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Mike Carmack of Texarkana; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Paulette Beck and Greg and Ann Beck of Texarkana; five grandchildren; and a number of stepgrandchildren and great-grandchildren. <br />Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Rondo Cemetery. Burial will be under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Family will be at 503 S.
