MILDRED GRIFFIN

EL MIRAGE, Ariz.—Mildred Griffin, 88, of Arizona died Sunday, June 21, 2009, at her home. <br />Mrs. Griffin was born May 5, 1921, in Titus County, Texas. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Griffin, in 1966; three grandsons, Gerald, Chad and Randy; and one granddaughter, Tamara. <br />Survivors include five daughters, Ernestine Hess, Darlene Maloy of Texarkana, Texas, Joann Ellis, Janice Hargrove and Mary Scarborough; two sons, Henry Griffin and Wallace Griffin; one stepdaughter, Pauline Griffin; one stepson, Kenneth Paul Griffin; one sister, Lou Ella Gaddis; one brother, Johnny Kay; 25 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. today in Sunwest Cemetery, El Mirage. Burial will be under direction of Sunwest Funeral Home and Cemetery. <br />Memorial services will be held at a later date in Titus County. <br />Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. today at the funeral home. <br /> <br />
