MAXIE MOTT

LINDEN, Texas—Maxie L. Mott, 92, of Linden died Friday, Feb. 27, 2009, in a local hospital. <br />Mrs. Mott was born Oct. 24, 1916, in Lodi, Texas. She was formerly employed with Linden Drug Co., and a member of Linden Chapter 756 Order of the Eastern Star and Lindare Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.T. Mott; and one daughter, Hughmilean Sandlin. <br />Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Bobbie Derrick of Linden; two daughters and one son-in-law, LaNell Greene and Pamela and Charles Jones of Linden; one sister and brother-in-law, Elsie and Milton Rachel of Atlanta, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. today at Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home with Taylor Duncan officiating.
