JAMES MORGAN

James Earl Morgan, 54, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, March 1, 2009, in a Shreveport, La., hospital. <br />Mr. Morgan was born Nov. 17, 1954, in Texarkana, Ark. He was retired from Red River Army Depot, a member of Holy Temple COGIC and an Army veteran. <br />Survivors include his wife, Joyce Morgan of Texarkana; one daughter, Olivia Morgan; three stepsons, Anthony Davis, Roddrick Davis and Demorio Davis of Texarkana; three sisters, Dorothy Mitchell and Jean Collins of Texarkana and Charlene Gomer of Oakland, Calif.; and one special niece, Fay Davis of Texas. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Temple COGIC with Rockridge Hannah officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br /> <br />
