LORENE DENMARK

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Lorene Denmark, 70, of Avinger, Texas, died Thursday, March 5, 2009, in a Longview, Texas, hospital. <br />Mrs. Denmark was born Dec. 16, 1938, in Marion County, Texas. <br />Survivors include her husband, Lee Denmark Jr. of Avinger; one son and daughter-in-law, Douglas D. and Kimberly Denmark of Avinger; one brother, Carlton Chism of Avinger; two stepbrothers, Cordell Moody of Avinger and Artis Ray Moody of Marshall, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Linda and John Wayne Patterson of Ore City, Texas; two stepsisters, Eloise Rushing of Lone Star, Texas, and Sadalia Smith of Dallas; seven grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church, Avinger, with the Rev. Robert Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pilgrim Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. <br />The body may be viewed from noon to 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.reeder-davis.com. <br /> <br />
