HELEN THRASHER

CLARKSVILLE, Texas—Helen Thrasher, 84, of Clarksville died Thursday, March 12, 2009, in a local hospital. <br />Mrs. Thrasher was born Oct. 22, 1924, in Sumner, Texas. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Ryan Thrasher. <br />Survivors include her husband, Roy Thrasher of Clarksville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Sarah Thrasher of Houston and Marcus and Sara Thrasher of Los Angeles; one sister, Robbie Melton of Paris, Texas; one brother, Leslie Howie Jr. of Paris; one grandson and granddaughter-in-law, David and Kristin Thrasher of Houston; and one great-grandchild. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Gossett officiating. Private burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in Evergreen Cemetery, Paris, under direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.clarksvillefuneralhome.com. <br /> <br />
