ROY WALTON

Roy Thomas Walton, 86, of Texarkana, Texas, died Thursday, March 12, 2009, in a local hospital. <br />Mr. Walton was born Aug. 30, 1922, in Paris, Texas. He was retired from the General Services Administration and Security at Red River Army Depot and was a World War II Army veteran. <br />Survivors include his wife, Edith Odell Walton; one daughter and son-in-law, Edith “Edie” and Shaun McGee of Henderson, Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Sondra Walton of Granbury, Texas, and Ronald and Jayme Walton of El Dorado, Ark.; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas, with the Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating.
