BILL MAHAFFEY

William Dee “Bill” Mahaffey, 51, of Texarkana, Ark., died Thursday, March 26, 2009, in a Shreveport, La., hospital. <br />Mr. Mahaffey was born Sept. 8, 1957, in Lubbock, Texas. He was a retired carpenter, a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church and a Vietnam War Air Force veteran. <br />Survivors include one son, Trey Mahaffey of Dallas; one daughter, Jennifer Mahaffey of Dallas; his parents, Kenneth and Chris Mahaffey of Texarkana; one brother, Lee Emerson of Washington; and three sisters, Gail Patton of Texarkana, Doris Boleng of Gulf Shores, Ala., and Ann Rondello of Venice, Fla. <br />Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Armstrong officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas. <br />The family will be at their residence, 6819 S.
