HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Edd “Irish” Walker, 59, of Hughes Springs died Saturday, March 28, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Walker was born Feb. 2, 1950, in Henderson, Texas. He was a Vietnam War veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans. He was preceded in death by one grandchild, Jamie Cooey. <br />Survivors include his wife, Christa Walker; two daughters, Dawn Davenport of Hughes Springs and Michelle Walker of Denver; four brothers, Robert Walker, Richard Walker, Mike Walker and Bill Walker; four grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; one stepgreat-grandchild; and a number of other relatives. <br />Graveside services with military rites will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Ebenezer Cemetery, Pittsburg, Texas, with the Rev. Scott Darby officiating.
