JOYCE McDERMOTT

GRAND SALINE, Texas—Joyce McDermott, 85, of Grand Saline died Monday, May 11, 2009, in Grand Saline. <br />Mrs. McDermott was born Jan. 4, 1924, in Maud, Texas. She was a member of Gleaners Sunday School class and a member and Sunday School teacher of Main Street Baptist Church, Grand Saline. <br />Survivors include her husband, Earl McDermott of Grand Saline; one daughter and son-in-law, Carol and David Martin of Fruitvale, Texas; two grandsons and one granddaughter-in-law, Brent and Cheri Martin of Vilsak, Germany, and Blake Martin of Fruitvale; three great-grandchildren, Nicole, Devon, and Anyssa of Vilsak; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Main Street Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronald Cantrell officiating. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery under direction of Bartley Funeral Home. <br /> <br />
