JOSEPHINE KYLES

Josephine Mildred Kyles, 91, of Hooks, Texas, died Thursday, May 14, 2009, in a local nursing home. <br />Mrs. Kyles was born Dec. 26, 1917, in Bowie County, Texas. She was retired from Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant and a member of Myrtle Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Kyles. <br />Survivors include two daughters, Serena Markham of Red Lick, Texas, and Cissy Durham of Little Rock; five sons, Sidney Kyles of Hooks, Texas, Dale Kyles of Red Lick, Texas, Richard Kyles Jr. and Mike Kyles of Texarkana and Seth Kyles of Plano, Texas; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Red Lick United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Red Lick Cemetery under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.chapelwoodfuneralhome.com. <br /> <br />
