OCIE THOMPSON

Ocie Lavella Thompson, 83, formerly of Texarkana, died Wednesday, May 13, 2009, in Abilene, Texas. <br />Mrs. Thompson was born Oct. 20, 1925, in Slaton, Texas. She was a retired hairdresser. <br />Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Arthur and Christine Thompson Jr. of Abilene, Texas; one sister-in-law, Stella Lindsey; one brother-in-law, Wayne Thurman; five grandchildren, Arthur Thompson III, Karleen Thompson, Paul Thompson, Travis Thompson and Amanda Cacciopo; 12 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.
