HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Betty Jo Harrell, 69, of Hughes Springs died Thursday, May 28, 2009, in Hughes Springs. <br />Mrs. Harrell was born March 6, 1940, in McAllen, Texas. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church. <br />Survivors include her husband, Howard Harrell of Hughes Springs; one brother, John Henry Coomer of Paris, Texas; three sisters, Mary Ann Hogan of Colorado, Lillie Faye Whitehurst of Fresno, Calif., and Beckie Bridgers of Paris; three grandsons; one great-granddaughter; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Midway Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Norvell officiating. Burial will be in Dennis Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.reeder-davis.com. <br /> <br />
