JOHN WEST

NEW BOSTON, Texas—John Thomas West, 55, of Simms, Texas, died Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, in a Dallas hospital. <br />Mr. West was born July 1, 1954, in Eastport, Maine. He was chaplain at Barry Telford Unit, New Boston, and a member of Fairland Holiness Church, Fouke, Ark. <br />Survivors include one sister, Darlene Place of Hurst, Texas; one aunt, Betty Ball of Turlock, Calif.; one nephew, John Place of Simms; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. Wednes-day at County Line Holiness Church, Dalby Springs, Texas, with Chaplain Becky Pierce and the Rev. Doyle House officiating. Burial will be in Wards Creek Cemetery, Simms, under direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home. <br />Online registration is at www.batesrolffuneralhome.com. <br /> <br />
