EMMETT SKIPWORTH

ASHDOWN, Ark.—Emmett T. “Skip” Skipworth, 83, of Ashdown died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, in Texarkana, Texas. <br />Mr. Skipworth was born Feb. 13, 1926, in Marshall, Texas. He was a member of VFW, Marshall, American Legion, Lions Club, Ashdown and First United Methodist Church, Ashdown. <br />Survivors include his wife, Peggy Skipworth of Ashdown; and one son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Kim Skipworth of Houston. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, Ashdown with the Rev. Jim Cross officiating. Burial will be in Ashdown Cemetery under direction of Madden Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br /> <br />
