WILLIAM CANNON

HOPE, Ark.—William Glen Cannon, 87, of Hope died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, in a local hospital. <br />Mr. Cannon was born June 23, 1922, in Columbus, Ark. He was a retired minister, formerly of Forest Hills at Laneburg and Antioch, member of Whitfield Masonic Lodge No. 238, F & A.M., a Mason and member of Providence Baptist Church, Spring Hill, Ark. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Lois Jones Cannon. <br />Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, R. Gail Cannon and Bryan Eiden of Hope; three grandchildren and grandchildren-in-law, Matthew Cannon Willis and Jodi Willis of Hope, Samantha and Chris Smith of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Courtney Eiden of Winchester, Va.; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home wit the Revs. Glen Shults and Kenneth Bobo officiating.
