GARLAND SAMPSON

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark.—Garland “Bud” Adron Sampson, 85, of Cabot, Ark., died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, in Cabot. <br />Mr. Sampson was born Sept. 14, 1924, in Nevada County, Ark. He was a former machinist with Missouri Pacific Railroad, a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of Big Rock Masonic Lodge, North Little Rock, and Garner Memorial Methodist Church, and a World War II veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dola Sampson. <br />Survivors include one daughter, Mary Lou Sampson of Cabot; one brother, James Sampson of Prescott, Ark.; five nieces and nephews, Peggy Mozart, Barbara Ellingburk, Audrey Dugan, James Sampson and Sonny Manning; one special cousin, Calvin Easterling; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. today at North Little Rock Funeral Home with Chuck Hardy officiating.
