LESSIE ELKINS

GURDON, Ark.—Lessie M. Elkins, 71, of Arkadelphia, Ark., died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009, in Hot Springs, Ark. <br />Mrs. Elkins was born May 10, 1938, in McCellan, Ark. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glennie L. “Jed” Elkins Sr.; and one grandson, Drew Smithpeters. <br />Survivors include three sons, Johnny Campbell of Great Falls, S.C., Wayne Campbell of Troup, Texas, and Lynn “Bull” Elkins of Arkadelphia; two daughters, Cindy Williams of Fort Worth, Texas, and Vicki Smithpeters of Okolona, Ark.; one sister, Elsie Reyenga of Hope, Ark.; 17 greatchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Pharr Funeral Home.
