ROBERT SLIMER

Robert Michael Slimer, 57, of Texarkana, Ark., died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Slimer was born Oct. 28, 1951, in Texarkana. He was retired from the United States Postal service and an Air Force veteran. <br />Survivors include his daughter, Shannon Slimer of Texarkana; one son, Michael Slimer Jr. of Texarkana; and one brother, David Slimer of Texarkana. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at East Funeral Home, Downtown with the Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.mem.com.
