DORTHY MORRIS

NAPLES, Texas—Dorthy Ann Morris, 66, of Naples died Friday, Oct. 2, 2009, in an Omaha, Texas nursing home. <br />Mrs. Morris was born May 18, 1943, in Texarkana, Ark. She was a typesetter at The Monitor newspaper, Naples, a Methodist and a member of Order of the Eastern Star. <br />Survivors include her husband, Richard “Dickie” Morris of Naples; one daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Alfred Smith of Mount Pleasant, Texas; one son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Paula Morris of Lake of the Pines, Texas; two granddaughters, Ashley Rene Smith of Naples, Texas, and Kristy Michelle Smith of Mount Pleasant; and a number of other relatives. <br />Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Dalton Cemetery with the Rev. Bryan Peck officiating. Burial will be under direction of Harrison Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Memorials may be made to Naples Public Library.
