TROY NORRIS

DEKALB, Texas—Troy Earl Norris, 63, of New Boston, Texas, died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at his home. <br />Mr. Norris was born Feb. 23, 1946, in DeKalb. He was a CRNA, a member of Community of Christ and a Navy veteran. <br />Survivors include his wife, Vicki Norris of New Boston; one son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Kimmie Norris of Independence, Kan.; one brother, H.J. Norris of DeKalb; five sisters, Ima Richardson of Malta, Texas, Vera Keechi of Oklahoma City, Donna Sturdivant of Leary, Texas, and Violet Wilson and Janie Porter of DeKalb; four grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Memorial services will be 2 p.m. today at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home with the Revs. LeRoy Morgan and Pam Carr officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in Woodmen Cemetery. <br />Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Memorials may be made to Community of Christ, DeKalb. <br />Online registration is at www.batesrolffuneralhome.com.
