FAY SIMMONS

MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas—Fay Bell Allen Simmons, 90, formerly of Red River County, Texas, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009, in Dallas. <br />Ms. Simmons was born May 29, 1919, in Dallas. She was a seamstress and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Rosa Cannon; one son, Elza LeRoy Allen; and one granddaughter, Brenda Barron. <br />Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Jackie and Jack Lee of Sand Springs, Okla., and Thelma and Mack Reid of Dallas; one brother, Edward Allen of Talco, Texas; and one sister, Mary Oteen Allen of Talco. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery.
