HORTENSE KEENER

ATLANTA, Texas—Hortense Keener, 90, of Atlanta died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009, in Atlanta. <br />Mrs. Keener was born July 17, 1919, in Bryans Mill, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Keener. <br />Survivors include two daughters, Helen Morrison of San Antonio and Sara Leighty of El Paso, Texas; two brothers, Don Guernsey of Atlanta and Henson Guernsey of Abilene, Texas; one sister, Vivian Jones of Atlanta; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Marietta, Texas, with the Rev. Chris Cowan officiating.
