OSCAR WEST

Oscar E. West, 86, of Texarkana, Ark., died Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009, in a local nursing home. <br />Mr. West was born Feb. 24, 1923, in Fergus Falls, Minn. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Hall West. <br />Survivors include three sons, Jerry West of Wild Rose, Wis., Jeff West of Roseville, Mich., and Jim West of Durand, Wis.; two daughters, Virginia Preuss and Veronica Lange of Elroy, Wis.; two stepsons, Raymond Kite of Salado, Texas, and Wayne Kite of Texarkana; one brother, Cliffton West of Clitherall, Minn.; 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. <br />Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at East Memorial Gardens.
