ATLANTA, Texas—Raymond “Cooter” Tyson, 54, of Atlanta died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009, in Fort Worth, Texas. <br />Mr. Tyson was born May 4, 1955, in Atlanta. <br />Survivors include his father, Lloyd Tyson Sr. of Atlanta; five brothers, Walter Wilson of Landover, Texas, Lloyd Tyson Jr. of Wylie, Texas, Darnell Briscoe and Billy Briscoe of Houston and Willie Briscoe of Dallas; and six sisters, DeAundra Garvin of Pontiac, Mich., Pamela Thompson, Eva Briscoe and Peggy Briscoe of Houston, Felecia Tyson of West Bloom, Mich., and Laura L. Simington of Shreveport, La. <br />Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Elizabeth Baptist Church, Doddridge, Ark., with the Rev. Ray Larry officiating. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery under direction of Community Mortuary. <br />Visitation will be noon to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
